Hello and welcome to Old Ways Gardening and Prepping.🍀 Would like to welcome you each in to our kitchen this cool beautiful evening. So happy to finally be able to make the cleavers salve.
Sometimes you get busy and life gives you a overload of things to do and you forget hey you need to make this salve. So now I am finally getting around to making it. As long as you store your dried herbs correctly there is no problem at all with making herb infused oils when you have the time to do so. So let's delve in to the medicinal benefits of Cleaver's salve.
Cleaver's are very important as a tonic within your body but also as a topical medicine as well. As a infused oil/salve it soothes inflammation, heals and reduces stagnation. It is well known as a massage for swollen or sluggish lymph glands. As a skin healing agent it works wonders as a anti-inflammatory and astringent for eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis. It soothes and heals extremely dry flaky skin. It is well known for healing and soothing burns, sunburn as well as wounds. There is a lot more that this amazing salve can heal. So as usual do your own research before using this salve making sure that it's the right one for you.
Cleavers Salve
1 cup of cleavers infused oil
1 ounce of yellow beeswax
1/2 tsp of vitamin E oil
2 ounce storage tins or small jars
This salve can be made in to larger batches just keep the ingredients multiplied equally.
