In this installment of Mainline Montage, we'll explore several different rail lines in Eastern Pennsylvania and Northern New Jersey. All of this footage was shot in the summer months of 2014.
June 23rd - While visiting the Strasburg Railroad, we managed to catch the pair of Amtrak Pennsylvanians at Paradise, PA.
June 30th - Along CSX's Trenton Line, we catch several trains at Woodbourne station. Our main goal was to catch the K041 with BNSF power, but we did manage to see a couple other trains while there, including a meet with the SEPTA train.
August 15th - Our good friend Dan Davis (Trainutjob) joined us for a day in New Jersey. We first camped out in the Three Bridges area, waiting for the prize of the day, Norfolk Southern 8114 - the "Original NS" heritage ES44AC. Later in the day, we also met up with our good friend Mike Allenovitch (All Aboard Productions), and he showed us around the Conrail Shared Asset's Lehigh Line. We caught a few trains in South Plainfield, NJ, including the Manville yard local MA-1 with some GP38-2s for power, and a late-running CSX Tropicana Juice train!
