Feb. 18th, 2015. Pennsylvania Northeastern gets a bit of help from sister railroad New Hope & Ivyland this week in the form of GP30 #2198. This 1963-built PRR veteran is used very infrequently on any sort of revenue freight movements. However this week, PN would be taking advantage of the cab signals on the 2198 and put her 2250 horses to work in freight service. Here we see 2198 leading W230 past North Wales station, waking up the neighborhood with that Nathan P5A horn.
