One of rare magical girl games, so naturally it is one of the only magical girl shmups to exist.
It has a shop system that gets more powerful equipment over time. Items that can be bought multiple times get more expensive every time you buy them, so try not to use elixir and medicine too many times or you won't have money to buy spells and weaponry.
Bosses particularly benefit from being pointblanked, so try to save health for pointblanks. It is easier to beat the final boss by sitting behind, tho.

Havent played Touhou for a while, so I decided to upload some of random footage.
Personal Difficulty by scale on Hard no bomb: 2.2/10 (Three-directionally shooting fairies are quite a bit tough. You probably want to take them down at a right timing when the screen will be covered in lots of bullets, so that theyd be cleaned)

The best setup to carry you in super high loop. Each loop after 10th one will increase the amount of enemy HP a little and not change the level layout anymore. At double digit loops youll probably be fine with Autotracker gem and you may find AM Generator to be unnecessary. For Hardcore you probably want to use Armor for more HP. Remember that Equalizers stack up?")

When I started practicing a no hit boostless run, I was scared of it. I have thought of the spirit section of the level to be extremely hard to pass through. First time I gave up on it as I was being constantly frowned. When Linkyop beat Parallel Processing on SS rank (without getting hit), the second time I hopped into it and gave a smug, shining in confidence that Ill beat the level. I didnt and I gave up as it was too much for me, thus I acted lazily and abandoned it. Some time has passed and Not Magolor (known as Sonicgirlana) beat the level on SS rank as well, and another time has passed - Mc-Starz too. These runs triggered me to return no-hitting this level.
