I've gotta keep it real - this song pretty much was the product of me not wanting to write songs anymore. I got up Monday morning knowing I had to write a song, but I didn't feel like writing an original, while at the same time not wanting to cover a song, either. Nevertheless, I went down to the studio and spent the day writing this song. I never know what's going to come out until I start. So it went with this song.
By Monday evening, I hated it and wanted to delete it, but I didn't.
Tuesday morning, I came down to hear the song with fresh ears, and instantly loved what I had done. I spent the day creating the drums, bass, and vocals and was really excited about it.
Goes to show - if ya hate something you've created and want to delete or erase or get rid of it. Sleep on it instead. Don't do anything while empassioned or mad or whatever. Just go to sleep and see if you still hate it in the morning. It might just surprise you what fresh ears / eyes / etc... will do.
I'm pretty pleased with how this one came out.
Oh, and you'll want to stay for the outro on this one. It takes musical insanity to a whole new level.

I vividly remember the first time I heard this song. It was actually a cover of it, done by two seniors during a school assembly when I was in high school. I was a freshman, so it was dumbfounding to me that highschooler could sound SO GOOD! Ill never forget it.
That day, I went home, turned on the radio, and listened until it came on. Its been a favorite of mine ever since.
My version definitely isnt a hard rock version, but I couldnt hear a hard version in my head, so this is what came out.
