Here's another nice jazz standard, "Lullaby of Birdland" (music by George Shearing and lyrics by George David Weiss). Such a cool chord progression that I thought I'd run the melody and work on my jazz improv today. Here's the result. I hope you enjoy!

Here is a run through of the first half of a song Im working on. Its a transcription of a song recorded by Dutch teen singer, Heintje, in 1971. Its called, Abend Wird Es Im Tal I need to have someone translate that, but I think its something about the valley in the evening. I think its a great song and sounds great on the trumpet.
