A new chorister auditions for placement in the soprano section. At the piano is Thomaskantor, Georg Christoph Biller, leader of the Thomanerchor Leipzig. He holds the same position Johann Sebastian Bach held with the same church and choir several hundred years ago. The choir celebrated its 800th birthday in 2012.

Here is a run through of the first half of a song Im working on. Its a transcription of a song recorded by Dutch teen singer, Heintje, in 1971. Its called, Abend Wird Es Im Tal I need to have someone translate that, but I think its something about the valley in the evening. I think its a great song and sounds great on the trumpet.
