Primus Live at Grinders, Kansas City July 12, 2025
Drove up to Kansas City to catch my good friend, John Hoffman, in his first tour as drummer with Primus!! It was a pleasure getting to photograph the concert and meet up with the band afterwards. If you get a chance- SEE THE BAND!!! Their set list literally changes every day!! When I visited with John, he was in the middle of learning a new song! He played two new songs that evening and literally killed it!!! And of course Les and Ler tore things up as well!!!
The crowd was awesome!!! I met so many incredibly cool people!!! Primus fans are the BEST!!!!

Here is a run through of the first half of a song Im working on. Its a transcription of a song recorded by Dutch teen singer, Heintje, in 1971. Its called, Abend Wird Es Im Tal I need to have someone translate that, but I think its something about the valley in the evening. I think its a great song and sounds great on the trumpet. I know I have several works in progress up right now. Im actually working on four projects at the same time! I think this one will be finished first, so when that happens, Ill post it and remove this one. I just wanted to put something new up, so here it is. Enjoy! Dave
