Pranav Ranjit | Luise Adolpha Le Beau - Violin Sonata op. 10 (Score Video) @towardthesea_ | Uploaded January 2021 | Updated October 2024, 5 hours ago.
Marianne Boettcher, violin
Ursula Trede-Boettcher, piano
I. Allegro
II. Andante cantabile
III. Allegro con fuoco
Luise Adolpha Le Beau (1850-1927) was a German composer of the Romantic era. Despite facing gender discrimination at almost every turn, Le Beau had her music performed from Sydney to Istanbul and made an indelible contribution to the musical life of the city of Baden-Baden. In my view, this delightfully lyrical violin sonata is one of her finest works.
