On today's adventure into the swamps of south Louisiana, we're out to find one of the most bizarre, elusive, and overall odd creatures you could possibly encounter: a siren! Siren doesn't just refer to the mythical creature, but rather a real life amphibian species! Nicknamed "two legged eels" by some in the south, I only ever find them during the rainy winter seasons, so with the weather and stars aligning, it was time to get off into the dark wetlands in search of this bizarre species!
