During the 2019 Canada Day long weekend, we took my mom on a quick trip to the Western province of Alberta. We stayed in Calgary which is the major metropolitan city and we also took the drive to Banff National Park, which is a popular winter destination but it's just as beautiful in the summer. 45 minutes from Banff is Lake Louise, which has a beautiful emerald lake with Victoria Glacier in the backdrop.
July 1 Canada day was spent in and around Calgary which really knows how to celebrate the holiday!
