As previously mentioned I tend to shoot long exposure photography around what I call the Golden Exposure of 1.6sec shutter speed. With moving water, that takes up a large chunk of my imaging, it allows a fantastic dynamic of motion in the water without over exposing the highlights.
In this video I look at going crazier with ND's and to stack them in order to get crazy with exposure times.
With no prescribed method to work out shutter speeds when stacking ND's the only option is trial and error. Start at what you think is a benchmark point and work from there.
