Btw if you're wondering how I'm back already, it's because I finished the DLC last night and the brainworms are somehow worse than ever. I knew it was gonna be bad, but by god was I NOT prepared for the reality of it all ♥ Doomed by the narrative and by their own actions? We truly can't win with this one. God bless, they make me sick in the head (and apparently also make me edit all day with barely a food break-)
This isn't that pretty, but it was mostly a vent(?) edit for me to get out all these Feelings I am currently having about these two pathetic old men. Maybe the cell we made along the way was the depression all along. Also yay for my first time making an Utsugi POV edit? Probably more to come! Anyway I DO have an actual plan for a proper (fx?) edit, but I can't promise you won't see another one of these copium edits before that because there is still one more set of quotes I'm currently rotating in my brain...
How long can I run from my responsibilities by making these indulgent edits? Let's find out! But if no one is playing this game then I will force you all to View Them this way instead :)

This isnt my usual description format but I put the info at the top in case you do not want to read my word vomit essay- I dont blame you but I need this right now so please bear with me fsdhjfkfa
This is a very special project that is really dear to me because it is dedicated to a very good friend of ours. Its been exactly one year without you now. I honestly cant put into words how I feel about this. It doesnt seem that long at all and at the same time it feels longer because the moments of the last one or two years that we did spend together were so far and few in between. It almost feels like you have been out of reach for so long that not much has changed, which is an absolutely terrible thing to think. And I am sorry. I am so fucking sorry. For everything. I know you would say its not my fault and that I did a lot for you but its hard to remember now. Its hard to believe when the end result stayed the same as if I never did a thing. Its so hard to remember anything. Im okay most of the time and I dont really think about you often... Does that make you sad? Or are you glad that I can go on living without hurting? But I do hurt. Whenever I remember, whenever someone or something does remind me of you it still hurts so much. Sometimes even that is fine but other times I just want to curl up and cry for hours. Sometimes its both things after one another. I dont want to forget. You deserve so much better than that, deserve a better FRIEND than that. I want to remember the times we laughed and talked about our interest for hours but those times are so far away now. I want to remember but its so difficult when the only things I do remember are the bad times at the end and my constant worry. I want to remember loving you. I always loved you, even at the worst times and at the end when you were barely around but it doesnt feel the same as it did and I cant stand it. I also cant stand not knowing what happened. Not knowing is worse than anything, I told you that before and I still mean it. I know it is unlikely that you are still here but sometimes I cant help but hope, even if its not true... I miss you so much. I wish you could see me now and watch me grow even more. I always wanted nothing more than to see a day you would be happy... But that day didnt come, did it? At least not the way I wanted it to... I hope you can finally rest easy now and that you didnt have any regrets. You left a trace in my soul that I will never forget even though my memories are already fading... A wound that might never heal but I dont regret it. I could never regret meeting you and loving you even if it hurt a lot of times. You meant so much to me, I cant put it in words. I wish things had gone differently, that I could have done more and that you could have gotten a chance to live life more fully... I may forget these times but the emotions I felt will stay with me. I am glad that a part of you will always be around me. I hope you can be proud of me. I hope you can forgive me that I can only seem to remember the sad times now. I hope you would still love the person I have become since the last time we REALLY spoke because I know that I would love any kind of person you would have become. Thank you for everything Toshi. I miss you so much. Thank you for being an important person in my life. Thank you for talking to me and making me laugh harder and cry harder than any other person I have ever met. I dont believe in souls or the afterlife but if there is even a slight chance that it exists I hope that you are happy now. I hope we can meet again one day and that maybe you keep on looking out for me. You might even see this video that I made with your lovely kouhai and the things you loved! I hope it makes you smile even though some parts are sad. All I wanted was for you to be happy really and I loved making videos for because it felt like they made you happy, even just a tiny bit. I know now that there was no way this little bit of happiness could have been enough. You also need to find happiness yourself for that. But even so it made me really happy when you said I was one of the reasons you lived and fought for so long. It probably shouldnt have but it did. Actually I started this almost a month ago and was like 2/3 done when life got in the way yet again and I wanted to upload this on the 18th February for my anni, but oh well;;
I guess here it is now finally?? Idk its kind of a surprise Im still here, especially considering how dead Ive been lately and how often I thought about quitting, but 4 years is a lot and editing basically was a constant through most of my teenage years so its hard to let go I guess? I hope I can manage to edit a bit more once I graduate though and maybe find some motivation again in the meantime!!
Thank you so much for all the people who stuck with me through this hell of a ride, the studios I used to be in and those Im still with now, old and new friends and friends who arent even editing anymore, I owe you all so much and I wouldnt be who I am now without my experiences here! I know Im not really active anymore, but it still means a lot to me that there are still people willing to watch over me and follow my improvement and all.
So Im basically dedicating this to everyone who has been there and who is still talking to me somehow (yall know who you are), but ESPECIALLY to Maou because same soul is strong and I might not have finished this project without you, sorry for always ranting to you about it xDD

This isnt the darkest edit ever made for day 21, but do I look like I care? Tachibana is so badass and black/white edits are awesome and glitches are lit so whatever really.
Also whoops Im back with the raw? Thats rare, but the chorus is too awesome not to use and it basically asks for raw. But Im still standing with my point that liveaction scenes are much easier to handle, you cant change my mind.
I never edited this queen before somehow? And well honestly I enjoyed this anime, but it didnt really stuck with me? Despite that, Tachibana is like super important to me in a way because she inspired me and I somewhat connected to her on a weird level because I watched this anime during the early stages of my gender discovery journey. Watching her made me so happy and I admired her a lot and I wanted to be like her a bit.
It was really nice that I finally got to make something for her, especially something that I can be a bit proud of!

Okay so I didnt really find any flag so its a bw edit aaand it was supposed to focus more on Akutagawa, but I gave up so early its not really noticable. Welp now you know.
Every little scene took so much time to make, but at first it was somewhat managable?? But then the little camera twists and transitions became too much so I just stopped after the minimum amount. Thats what you get for trying to recreate an AE edit in SV, still its truly a shame because Maous editing is magical and I enjoy all of her videos so much!!
