Hello everyone!! I am once again back to present you the Rocketshipping... Day... Worm...? squints
Sadly the interest this year has hit a new low so it resulted in the project not even reaching one minute. I'm sorry for anyone who has been excited for more, but I hope you'll enjoy the two contributions regardless!
Even after all these years, Rocketshipping is still very precious to me and I think it will always have a part of my soul until the day I die. It makes me happy to share this love with others, to pay tribute to it with this project and to see others appreciate them as well, either through an edit or watching this ongoing project! I don't regret starting this day six years ago... wow. I've just been a baby with a big dream at the time and it brings me joy to see what that idea resulted in.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to Rocketshipping Day over the years, whether that be as editors, viewers or other forms of content creators on other websites. I'm glad I was able to share this with all of you.
That being said, I have decided that this will be the last time I will host the Rocketshipping Day Worm in this shape and form. I was concerned with the decline in interest that naturally happened over the years, but it has now hit a point where I am unable to make it work anymore. I love hosting this project, but I can't do it alone. This is not an accusation towards anyone who considered joining this year but didn't, not at all! I'm not mad at or blaming any of you, it has simply been the general lack of participation that has established itself by now.
None of that means that Rocketshipping Day itself will disappear. I will certainly continue to edit for it yearly and anyone is free to reach out to me if they would like to collab or have any other ideas! You can make your own edits for this day and tell me about them. I was thinking of creating a public playlist with all Rocketshipping Day content, so it stays easily accessible even when I'm not uploading it together anymore. If anyone wishes to attempt hosting this project themselves, feel free to do so and invite me! I just don't believe that the current way this is organised is sustainable any longer.
