David Linthicum was charged with attempted murder in connection to a three-day manhunt in which he's accused of shooting at police officers in February 2023. The defense rested its case late Tuesday afternoon as Linthicum elected not to testify. The jury got the case around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, after more than three hours of closing arguments that included video. The state closed with defense, beginning its closing argument by telling the jury to ignore all the defense team's "distractions," saying "none of them have anything to do with our case."
