Jurors in the trial of David Linthicum reached a guilty verdict on all counts Thursday. The jury deliberated for a total of five hours across two days before finding Linthicum guilty of attempted first-degree murder of three Baltimore County police officers and a detective, as well as armed carjacking and firearms charges connected to the attempted murder counts. The defendant's father, John Linthicum, offered no comment as the left Baltimore County Circuit Court in Towson. The defense team expressed disappointment, called the verdict "a very unfortunate result" and vowed to appeal. David Linthicum's attorney, Deborah Levi, cited the state's response to mental crises.
