Baltimore County and education leaders spoke Wednesday about actions to further address school safety. County Executive Johnny Olszewski joined Baltimore County Public Schools Superintendent Myriam Rogers to talk about a recent fatal shooting at Joppatowne High School in Harford County, as well as threats made to schools around the country, to highlight the ongoing effort to improve school safety. Olszewski said the district's efforts start with the school resource officer program and its 83 officers who serve across the school district.
