Samus & Link Were Almost in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance?!
he Nintendo characters were considered for the Wii version, and development actually progressed far enough that footage exists showing Samus fighting alongside Marvel characters.
Unfortunately, both Samus and Link were ultimately cut before release.
Imagine playing Marvel: Ultimate Alliance with Spider-Man, Wolverine, Samus AND Link on the same team.
This is one Nintendo crossover I really wish had actually happened.
