All of Lindsay Clancy's psychiatrist appointments in the months before she killed her children were virtual visits rather than in-person appointments. Clancy's defense attorney, Kevin Reddington, argued during testimony Monday that psychiatrist Dr. Jennifer Tufts should have required Clancy to come into her office.
Reddington argued that the virtual visits created a physical barrier that prevented Tufts from getting a better assessment of Clancy — potentially affecting her diagnosis and treatment.
Tufts, who faced intense questioning from Reddington on a variety of topics, said she did not believe the difference between virtual and in-person appointments affected Clancy's treatment.
