If Lindsay Clancy truly heard voices and had intrusive thoughts about harming herself and others, why didn't she tell any of her doctors about them when she was seeking psychological help in 2022 and 2023?

Prosecutors say it's a crucial hole in her story that undermines the mental illness defense she's using in her murder trial.

Plymouth Assistant District Attorney Shanan Buckingham extensively grilled Clancy's current psychologist, Dr. Paul Zeizel, about the apparent inconsistencies in Clancy's account of hearing voices during cross-examination Tuesday.

Buckingham sought simple yes-or-no answers about why Clancy hadn't reported the voices to her doctors, but Zeizel testified the answer wasn't so simple.
