I spent a week living at an off-grid permaculture farm in Costa Rica, and here's a glimpse into what it was like. I often think about how reliant I am on societal systems to provide me with access to basic needs like food, water, and electricity, and I am feeling like it's becoming more and more important to explore ways of living that provide us with more sovereignty as humans and allow us to live in more harmony with the natural world.
Permaculture is basically a system of growing food that is made to be sustainable and self-sufficient. In this video, I share a day in the life at a permaculture farm & community space called Protopia and my friend JP shows us how to make farm-to-table golden milk.
