In this video, I spend 24 hours blindfolded on “Circus Island” with the spiritual circus group, Momentom Collective.
Momentom Collective is a nomadic circus group that lives in a community and offers residencies in magical locations. This residency called “Circus Island,” was on a cacao farm called Pital on the volcanic island Ometepe, Nicaragua. Momentom offers residencies for artists, digital nomads, and anyone who wants to live in a community and learn circus arts and healing arts. They teach a variety of workshops including circus arts, spiritual healing modalities, and sustainability.
I was with Momentom for New Years this year, so I decided to challenge myself and spend 24 hours completely blindfolded while going to Momentom’s circus school for a day. By the end of my day, I learned how to dance with fire blindfolded!
