A short film from the Prelinger Archives, this one has a visit to Warwick, NY on the L&HR, followed by scenes of multiple RS-1's on freights on the NYS&W including a cab ride and interchange with the L&NE. Then some scenes of the EMD GP20 demonstrators attempting to generate a sale to the Susquehanna, followed by the result of that demo, the delivery of 3 new GP18's to the NYS&W from the Erie at Campbell Hall, NY (I'm assuming this location, correct me in the comments if I'm wrong). Finally, a short commuter train somewhere in New Jersey and a GP18 powered local in the late 60's. Sounds added from my video library and Arkay Records. Enjoy!
