I came across the raw video from my 2019 Marschbahn visit while researching, and realized I had not yet edited it together. For those who have not seen my Marschbahn 2013 video, I recommend it to show how things have changed in the intervening six years. The Marschbahn runs northward from Hamburg Germany to the Isle of Sylt in the North Sea, the latter being accessed by a causeway over the tidal flats known as the Hindenburgdamm. The line is notable for its semaphore signaled single track line north of Niebüll with dense rail traffic, hosting DB intercity services, Shleswig-Holstein regional trains and the vehicle shuttles bound for Sylt, which can only be accessed by rail. Enjoy!
