Interestingly, the level selection cheat in Rocket Knight Adventures (Up Down Up Down Up Down Up Down Up Down Left Left Right Right Right Right, and A+Start on the main screen) behaves differently in each region.
In Japan, it works correctly. In Europe, it's confirmed (Sparkster's scream is heard), but pressing A+Start just begins a new game, instead of entering the level selection. In America, the cheat isn't confirmed/recognized, and pressing A+Start doesn't enter the level selection screen.
Nothing too important, but a small tidbit regardless. I remember reading about it on the Internet, and going "No way! It HAS to work on the European version!" and being disappointed at not getting to experience the level selection code.
