There's an Easter Egg in this screen, you see. If you play the game on the 17th day of any month, a smiley face will randomly appear on top of the O in WORMS (the radioactive symbol circle). This smiley will stay there for a random amount of time (usually 3 seconds), and blink his eyes with a "boing!" sound effect in random intervals.
