On the fifth episode of Let's Play Signalis, Elster has gathered the six elemental keycards scattered around the hospital wings. However, I still need to figure out the correct alignment to turn our Blank card into the Earth replacement. After some tinkering and scribbling, I finally get the right card printed and plug it into the door. It turns out all those keys were needed just to get into the Surgery room, which is a save room with supplies and a big hole in the floor. Expecting trouble, I hop down and we're introduced to the first boss, a hulking Mynah mining Replika. And she proves to be quite a struggle for me, as well as a learning experience on what to expect from the boss encounters going forward. After dying for half the episode over and over, I finally pump enough lead/steel into miss meltyface to drop her for good. Afterwards, we meet Adler, the Administrator and second-in-command here at S-23 Sierpinski. He's not particularly helpful about where to find Alina though, since he just pushes us down an elevator shaft. We fall down into another first person segment, this time as Isa, who's looking for her sister at their school on Rotfront. Instead she finds a bunch of masked girls bullying a familiar white-haired girl, before we wake up as Elster once again. Adler's little shove still managed to further our goal however, as we've made it even deeper into Sierpinski and that much closer to the Mine.
