On the seventeenth episode of Let's Play Dead Space 3, an angry Isaac continues his pursuit of Danik, who managed to steal the new Codex after once again failing to kill us. We fight our way through both Necromorphs and Unitologists until we reach the massive elevator shaft that leads down to the S.C.A.F. excavation site. Danik and his goons take the elevator down, forcing us to rappel after them with a series of conveniently placed descent ropes. As we climb down after them, we also have to continue shooting a constantly replenishing supply of Unitologists on the elevator itself, who seem to literally drop from the sky. As we descend even deeper, we encounter our first Alien Necromorph, who proves to be a less armored replacement for the Brute. At the bottom of the shaft, we find the entryway into the dig site, where the S.C.A.F. seemingly discovered an alien city beneath the ice. Overseeing the whole thing is the Machine that we've been looking for the whole time, and now we know it's importance in stopping the Necromorphs. We manage to catch up to Danik and grab the Codex, only to go tumbling into the depths of the city.
