On the seventh episode of Let's Play Dino Crisis 3, Patrick has reached the Shaft Sector and more or less caught up with the mystery girl. In one of the crew quarters, we have a proper chat with Caren and learn that she is the daughter of one of the original crew's scientists. She's seemingly been in stasis for almost 300 years, and doesn't seem to know much about what's going on. Jacob and Sonya also clarify that they've learned MTHR created the dinosaur creatures in an attempt to create creatures with human-level intelligence. However, Caren is distressed by the idea of shutting down MTHR, and runs off again, leaving a bewildered Patrick to follow her up the Shaft. We catch up to her further up, in some kind of holodeck room, and the two share a moment as Patrick reveals a little bit about himself. MTRH decides to kill the two by overloading the holodeck room, so Sonya has to travel outside the ship once again to disable the power in the room so they can escape.
