This is the sixth video of my playthrough of the story of Monster Hunter Wilds on PS5! For this I am streaming directly from my PS5 using the built-in broadcasting software. Fresh broadcasts will be over on Twitch and replays will be posted here.
***THIS INCLUDES POST-CREDITS CONTENT AFTER THE MAIN PART OF THE STORY! There's not major major spoilers, but I recommend not watching if you don't want to know or haven't seen the rest of the video series yet!***
I am going in mostly blind after playing a bit of all the beta tests. I find out the sequencing is quite different! It takes me a bit to get adjusted to the controls and timing of attacks. I am not used to the slinger and keep trying to use Flash Bombs as an item, not as slinger ammo...
I have been playing Monster Hunter since MH3U!
After the credits roll, the real meat of the game comes into fruition. I jump back in on the second stream of the day with one thing in mind: I mainly wanted to get through the first quest to unlock HR cap so I could do the first two Event Quests before they went away!
We still have work to do and mysteries to solve. It's not quite over yet!
Fun fact: The first monster we tackle in this video is the second large monster you hunt in the very first Monster Hunter game!
