Mario Golf for Gameboy Color originally released in North America on October 5, 1999; received a 3DS Virtual Console release on October 11, 2012; and now on Nintendo Switch Online on March 12, 2024. This broadcast is on the NSO version for convenience. I set out to complete every objective in the main story - this did not include match games against Luigi, Wario, and Mario.
In this second segment, I went ahead to the champs lounge and challenged Grace. My intention to start with the matches is to unlock Golf Guru's Pitch n' Putt as soon as possible, so it doesn't become near impossible with an overleveled out-of-control character. Grace puts up more of a fight than Putts - mostly. She had a terrible short game in this match. I find it silly that Grace was subsequently downgraded from this pin-up model in this game to a Rosalina-lite in Advance Tour. At least Sherry's later glow-up somewhat makes up for that.
