Finally found some time at year's end to play a hidden game mode that has no leaderboard on SRC (or RetroAchievements, but do correct me if I'm wrong). That said, it does have a category of community achievements in the MGTT Netplay server.
To access the Hole-in-One Contest (essentially just Near-Pin but for the regulation courses), hold Z at the title screen and then continue and select the new Contests window.
This was my new best four-hole total for Cheep Cheep Falls from Front Tees within a short session. No HIO, but just one mid hole and three good ones. Still fairly improvable, though these par 3s are still fairly lengthy.
