On the fourth episode of Let's Play Fatal Frame: Maiden Of Black Water, Ren has made his way to the abandoned inn on Mt. Hikami in search of more postmortem photographs. After fending off the ghost of the inn's previous owner, we reach the roof and find another album. However, Rui is nearly compelled to jump off the roof by one of the ghosts. After the ghost is banished, another Shrine Maiden tries to stop the pair from leaving, but still can't stand up to a Camera Obscura.
Meanwhile Yuri decides to return to the mountain to begin her search for Hisoka, her mentor. Searching the shop for something we can use to trace our way to her, we end up going through her case files. It seems that Hisoka was looking for Fuyuhi's friend Haruka, so we decide to start by following Haruka's trace. The trail leads us back to the doll covered shrine we passed by before, and inside we meet a strange little girl. The girl tells Yuri that she'll need to try and find a hidden effigy of herself to progress

On this episode of First Impressions, I take a look at a touched-up rerelease of the very first total conversion mod ever made, which also happens to be an Aliens-themed Doom mod. Originally released back in 1994, shortly before the release of Doom 2, Aliens TC was a very influential mod in its time. These days, it does seem rather simple compared to some of the recent Aliens based TCs, but its still pretty solid nonetheless. As one of the Colonial Marines sent to Hadleys Hope, weve gotta delve into the dark places of the colony and kill a bunch of Xenomorphs with familiar weapons, as well as a few oddball inclusions.
