On the fourth and final episode of TC-Prequel, we've discovered some ruins across the bridge from the train depot, and delve into the tomb below. After navigating the ancient trap and grabbing an MP5 from a failed tomb raider, we head back out and continue exploring the other side of the bridge. I end up back at the depot and this time manage to activate the wind turbine and restore power to the building. However, to open the doors we'll need to reactivate the turntable by inserting the correct replacement fuse. Which it turns out was the one that was eaten by the train last time. So, after replaying from an older save to obtain the correct fuse off screen, I open up the doors and find the key to the Explorer RV inside. The RV contains the code we'll need to leave, but there's some more stuff to see before that.

On this episode of First Impressions, I take a look at a touched-up rerelease of the very first total conversion mod ever made, which also happens to be an Aliens-themed Doom mod. Originally released back in 1994, shortly before the release of Doom 2, Aliens TC was a very influential mod in its time. These days, it does seem rather simple compared to some of the recent Aliens based TCs, but its still pretty solid nonetheless. As one of the Colonial Marines sent to Hadleys Hope, weve gotta delve into the dark places of the colony and kill a bunch of Xenomorphs with familiar weapons, as well as a few oddball inclusions.
