My workshop gets some dusty. Does yours? Let's make a workshop dust filter!!
I had an exhaust fan in the shop a couple of years ago to try and exhaust moisture laden warm air from a diesel fired salamander style heater. It did a great job exhausting teh air but it took all the warm air too!! SO that idea failed and I moved on from that. But I ended up with an exhaust fan with nothing to do.
So I was sitting in the shop one day a week or so ago thinking to myself about how dusty the shop was after sanding all the drawers front pieces. I was thinking about how I could deal with the dust that the shop dust collector left behind. The shop dust collector is great at getting sawdust and big dirt but for the fine dust, it's not so good.
Then the light went on!! Eureka!! I could use the exhaust fan and a furnace filter and build a dust filter!!
So that's what I'm up to in this video. Have a look and see how I make out!!
Also, a few weeks back I made a video about my heat pump woes. Well a long time subscriber of the channel commented on the video and in fact he did more than comment, he sent me a 'Super Thanks' with a nice monetary gift. The channel is Gazman and the owner is Gary. I'll only use his 1st name out of respect for his privacy.
