Do you have saw blades that are dull? Here's a DIY idea to sharpen them!!
I have a lot of saw blades that I use on the table saw, the miter saw, the circular saw and so on. The blades get built up with pitch from the wood and just general wear and tear and that makes them dull and then no one wants to talk to them!! LOL
It also makes them kind of dangerous to use. You have to force the saw through the wood, or in the case of the table saw, force the wood through the saw. The wood burns, the cuts end up not being straight. It's just not a good situation.
So to deal with that what I have been doing is buying new blades. And blades, like everything these days, are expensive.
Well I saw on You Tube a review for a blade sharpener that you can use right in your own shop. No more searching for a service that will sharpen the saw blade. I thought I would try this out and see if it was any good.
So I had bought some new blades from Amazon. Here is an Amazon Affiliate link for the blades I bought:
amzn.to/4c353vg
They are a DeWalt branded blade and I thought they were a good price.
Then I found the saw blade sharpener on Amazon. Here is the Affiliate link for the sharpener:
amzn.to/4b2DBMf
I sharpen a blade in this video and do a test to see what the difference in current draw between the dull blade and the sharp one. The results are encouraging.
I also have a Sticker Time Shout OUT for Kenny's channel called Firewood Adventure. Kenny has a nice channel and is interesting to watch. Why not check it out at the link below and tell him Grampie sent ya!!

Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy the video. Please 'thumbs up' me and leave me some comments. And if you haven't done so already, please consider 'subscribing' to my channel. It sure helps my videos get noticed and my channel grow. I hope you all have a great week.
