Last time we got so close to the fourth and final act, but the dragon proved to be just a little too tough. This time things will be different... at least, I hope they will be. Roguelites being what they are, I might not make it just because the game says so, but the journey is still a fun one.
It's rare that the forest defeats me these days, but you should never presume that the first act is going to be free. You still need to pick up some decent orbs and at least passable relic to not struggle. Synergy isn't super important at this point, but a plan should be on the edges of your mind based on what you've managed to get. Whether that plan will happen depends entirely on RNG, of course, but one can hope.
