With our two dispel potions in hand - implying that there's future use for them we aren't yet aware of - it's time to laser focus on the main plot. Removing the magic upon the captured leopardman is the trigger to marrying her. Derek sees not a wife - she absolutely would have to consent to that - but a way to get to the leopardman village so he can try to broker peace between them and the Simbani.
So begins the main event as a fighter (and paladins) in this game. They exclusively are allowed to become simbani warriors and that involves going through a series of trials against other hopefuls. Our opponent is of course Yesufu who has his eye on the captive as a potential bride and will do everything he can to prevail against us.
The first part of the trial is the race, something that we cannot best Yesufu at no matter how hard we try. The tasks between each leg of the run is where we can even the score, using our brains to outwit Yesufu and yes, that includes climbing. One of the two places you can climb is here and you can actually train it here if you're willing to put in the time and forfiet that part of the trial, though our skill is far too high for this to be a very viable method.
This part of the trial is also where you have an opportunity to show how honourable you are. Whether you help Yesufu out or not has lasting repurcussions but if you choose not to, make absolutely sure you don't lose the contest. You'll see why next video.
