We stayed in the Lava Hot Springs Holiday East KOA for a few nights on our roadtrip. We visited in August 2021, and the weather was perfect. We didn't do anything but hangout in the hot springs and walk around the small town area, but there were a ton of hikes, tubing, and biking options available nearby.
