Crochet Easy Bead Stitch Beanie Pattern:
Crochet Hook: G/6/4.25MM
Yarn: 4 Medium, Patons 100% Wool Yarn

Crochet a chevron brim to 38 chevron stitches. Join the short edges using SL st (shown in precursor video).
Row 1: Working on the same side of the brim as the tails, CH 2 and start to place 1 BEAD st in each of the “dual loops” at the top of each Chevron st. SL st in the top of the 1st BEAD st to join (40 total BEAD st).
Row 2: CH 2 and turn in the opposite direction. Working in the gap behind current BEAD st, place 1 BEAD st. *Place 1 DC in the top of the next BEAD st, then place 1 BEAD st in the gap behind the current BEAD st.* Repeat * around the row. SL st in the top of the 1st BEAD st (40 total BEAD st).
Rows 3 - 7: Repeat Row 2.
Row 8: CH 2 and turn in the opposite direction. *In BEAD st 1 - 6, place 1 BEAD st, then BEAD st 2together in BEAD st 7 & 8.* Repeat * around the row. SL st in the top of 1st BEAD st (35 total BEAD st).
Row 9: CH 2 and turn in the opposite direction. *In BEAD st 1 - 5, place 1 BEAD st, then BEAD st 2together in BEAD st 6 & 7.* Repeat * around the row. SL st in the top of 1st BEAD st (30 total BEAD st).
Row 10: CH 2 and turn in the opposite direction. *In BEAD st 1 - 4, place 1 BEAD st, then BEAD st 2together in BEAD st 5 & 6.* Repeat * around the row. SL st in the top of 1st BEAD st (25 total BEAD st).
Row 11: CH 2 and turn in the opposite direction. *In BEAD st 1 - 3, place 1 BEAD st, then BEAD st 2together in BEAD st 4 & 5.* Repeat * around the row. SL st in the top of 1st BEAD st (20 total BEAD st).
Row 12: CH 2 and turn in the opposite direction. *BEAD st 2together in first 2 BEAD st, then place 1 regular BEAD st.* Repeat * around the row (12 total BEAD st).
Row 13: CH 2 and turn in the opposite direction. BEAD st 2together around the row. SL st in the top of 1st BEAD st (5 total BEAD st).
Tie off yarn, leaving a long tail (about 1-foot). Weave the tail in and out of the last row of BEAD st. Cinch the tail to close the gap in the top of the beanie, then tie it off again using available loops near the tail.
Pull tail to the inside of the beanie
Attach a yarn or faux fur pom pom.
