Crochet Mini Ice Skates FREE Pattern:
Crochet Hook: F/5/3.75
Yarn: 3 Lightweight
Attach yarn to crochet hook using a slip knot.
Row 1: CH 8, place 1 SL in the 1st st to join.
Row 2: CH 1, place 1 SC in the BLO of current st, then the BLO of each st in the row. Skip SL st & CH 1, then SL st in 1st SC to join.
Rows 3 - 5: CH 1, then place 1 SC in each st in the row. Skip SL st & CH 1, then place 1 SL st in the 1st SC to join.
Row 6: CH 1, place 1 SC in the current st then the next 3. In the next st, place 5 SC, and mark the 3rd of the 5 stitches. Place 1 SC in the remaining 3 st in the row (12 total). Skip SL st & CH 1, place 1 SL st in the 1st SC to join.
Row 7: CH 1, place 1 SC in the current st and each st until you make it to the st marker. In the marked st, place 5 SC, then place 1 SC in the remaining st in the row (16 total st). Skip SL st & CH 1, then place 1 SL st in the 1st SC to join.
Row 8: CH 1 and place 1 SC in the current st and each st in the row (16 total). Skip SL st and CH 1, then place 1 SL st in the following st to join.
Row 9: Do not place a CH 1. Insert crochet hook in next st then in the corresponding st on the other side of the skate (this will be the last SC from the previous row). Yarn over and pull through all loops for a SL st, then place joining SL st in each of the corresponding st in the row.
Cut and tie off yarn.
Attach black or gray yarn to crochet hook, 1 SC on front side of skate. CH 2 and place 1 SC in center, then CH 2, then 1 SL st at the back of skate (working in available loops along the bottom edge of the skate).
Cut and tie off yarn.
Draw all tails to the inside of the skate and then tie the tails together. Cut the tails off but make sure you leave some length to them so they don’t untie.
