The secret service says former President Donald Trump was never in danger when a Las Vegas man tried to enter the site of a campaign rally on Saturday with loaded guns.
However, a California sheriff says his deputies likely disrupted a third assassination against the former president.
This incident occurred Saturday afternoon in Coachella, California, hours before the former president was to speak at a large outdoor rally.
49-year-old Vem Miller came under suspicion when he drove up to a checkpoint outside the rally site. He was later arrested on weapons charges.
