I review two (Vol 1 and 12) of the Bold Venture Press double novel reprints form the Larry Kent P.I. series. This is a fascinating pulpy detective series that began as a spin off of an Australian radio series. The books feature an American P.I. instead under the same name. They astoundingly lasted several decades and hundreds of books! All of them have wonderfully cheeky titles and VERY pulpy artwork on the covers.
Bold Venture has reprinted 24 of these swift books in 12 double novels reprints all at a very low price. They're really fun and fast read which should please any mystery or pulp fan.
And yes...there was trailer voice reading of the titles and blurbs...because I had to!!
