The trick here is pre prepare the angle of your head over to the left in order to be able to hit the Overhand Punch with ease and then use that head position to bait your opponent into taking a shot at your head. When the opponent takes a shot you come over the top while their hands are out of their defensive positions and your opponent is concentrating on their own punch.
This tactic takes a lot of confidence and belief in your striking abilities but with practise it actually becomes relatively easy to do. It could also be used in other striking combat sports like Boxing, Kickboxing or Muay Thai.
