This cooling fan control module is compatible with 2012 to 2016 Range Rover Evoques, 2013 to 2015 Land Rover LR2s and Freelander 2s, and 2015 to 2016 Discovery Sports.
In this Land Rover LR2 Vorally Cooling Fan Control Module Review, I share my experience with a cooling fan running continuously whether my vehicle was on or off.
You'll see the Vorally cooling fan control module I replaced the old module with and where it is inside the engine compartment. In case you need to stop your cooling fan from running until you replace your control module, you'll see where to disconnect the control module from the power source.
I watched a lot of videos about cooling fans not shutting off in Land Rovers, and the most common reason was related to the cooling fan control module. I suppose there could be another reason, but replacing the control module was the fix for my Land Rover LR2.
Regarding the Vorally cooling fan control module, I'm very happy to say that it's working great after a month or so of replacing the old module with this one. In addition, it saved me a lot of cash. I checked with the local parts suppliers, and the cost was high. The Vorally unit was only a fraction of what the local parts dealers were asking for.
It's also good to know that it's not very difficult to replace it. I had my favorite mechanic replace mine for me, and I was only charged for 1/2 hour of labor.
