In this Yamaha Piaggero NP-11 61 Key Electronic Keyboard, I share my experience with this keyboard and give you a demonstration of it.
We've had this keyboard for 8 years now, and it's still working great. I'm impressed because 2 of our kids have used this Yamaha keyboard pretty extensively for piano practice.
The Yamaha Piaggero keyboard has 5 basic sounds, including the grand piano, and each sound has a variation, giving you a total of 10 sounds. If you want, you can also combine sounds by pushing on two different sound buttons together.
Depending on how hard you press the keys, you'll get a softer or louder sound.
The keyboard comes with a detachable music rest and can be powered with an adapter or with 6 AA batteries.
The power will automatically turn off in 30 minutes in case you forget to turn it off manually. This helps save battery life or electricity depending on how you're powering it.
It has In/Out MIDI ports. In case you're wondering, MIDI is short for Musical Instrument Digital Interface. This allows you to use your keyboard for music production using compatible software. You can also use the MIDI ports on this keyboard with piano learning software. To do that, you'll need aMIDI cable, which is sold separately.

The bottom line is, my family has enjoyed using this keyboard for the last 8 years, and I expect to get even more use out of it.
