Montreal based singer Lana Stamen brings her own special touch to the genre of musical theater. Indeed, this genre is all hers. Stamen is steeped in the style, holding a Master's degree in musical theater from the New Bulgarian University, and focusing her career passionately on the style for more than a decade.
Stamen has a crystalline sensitivity to the characters and situations woven into these memorable pieces; mining the source musicals for her own enjoyable theatrics. Sexy, smart, and dramatic, the singer draws us into each piece, enhancing her performance with set-up stories, and a decidedly animated delivery.
