I took a recent trip to Winslow, AZ and along the way I always like to see what's new in Lamy. I assume the Legal Tender/ museum/ eating house is still open but with very limited hours. If you wish to visit Santa Fe, NM you must stop here in Lamy and have the Amtrak thruway bus take you there.
I did that in 2013, where I met up with a friend who brought me back down to Lamy to catch the East and Westbound Amtrak trains. Hard to believe it's been 12 years since I did that. I did have the opportunity to eat at the Legal Tender in Lamy and it was great. Santa Fe was awesome, too.
