I am troubledby these times we live in. Hopefully America and the world will turn around. I try to be as optimistic as I can. I often think what the hell is this life all about. What matters most in life. When we're dead and gone and have the ability to look back on our earthly lives what was it that mattered most? My conclusions may be different than others but this is what I came up with. I put my thoughts in the video.

I wish you all well and you all have a happy new year if that's possible. So many people hurting in so many ways.
BTW I called this piece "High Desert SUnshine." It's usually nice and sunny here, but the high desert can get really cold. I didn't know that until I moved here. Back in Illinois I had trouble coping through the winter and the gloominess. At least here the sun shines most of the time and it does help. I like to spend time wandering out in the desert about mid-day to the late afternoon. It gives me time to think and clear my head. But, it's lonely as hell out here. Not good.
