My photography of some of the graffiti I see on trains. I have assembled an e-book with over 400 images for the graffiti enthusiasts. Much of the images were captured in Winslow, AZ during the 2019-20 years.

I am amazed at the interest in the graffiti art form, especially on trains. There's a huge subculture of graffiti writers. People may be opposed to it strongly because it is defacing railroad property and yes it is illegal to tresspass and deface the rail cars. I simply see it pass by me and photograph it from public sidewalks or streets. It seems this graffiti cannot be stopped. I see more than I ever did. There are many videos on you tube helping to understand this obsession and their need to write their name, etc on rail cars, etc. From a photographer's point of view I just shoot the colorful splash of color or immense art project and that's it. It does make me look at it. As a photographer you watch out for anything that catches the eye.
